Notes for William Williams
A successful farmer, landowner, cattle dealer and part-time drover, soon after 1851 William Williams and his family moved from Criccieth to take up the tenancy of Ty Newydd in Llanystumdwy, later the wartime home of David Lloyd George and currently the National Writers Centre for Wales.
