Notes for Thomas Dewsberry
Thomas Dewsberry lost an arm after an accident on the railways when he was twelve years old. According to the Board of Trade Accident Report he was working as a telegraph clerk when he fell from a railway carriage and was run over by one of the wheels. He was later made Station Master at Congleton in Cheshire where he died in 1921
